Philip Sharpe, RA is founder and CEO of SHARPE Architecture of NC, PC. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Architecture degree from UNC-Charlotte in 1977.

Licensed to practice architecture since 1983, Phil founded the firm in 1984. Under his direction, SHARPE Architecture has completed over $500 million in projects for private developers; commercial and industrial clients; public and private schools. Phil is actively involved in all aspects of the company operation including design, administrative control and project review.

In addition, he has been a leader in the design-build industry. He is a founding director of the Southeast Chapter of the Design-Build Institute of America. As a recognized leader in the design-build industry, Phil serves on the faculty of the American Institute of Training and Professional Development and has conducted numerous seminars on the subject. He also has consulted with leading contractors as well as public and private construction purchasers to develop design-build programs.
